
Classic “live” clinics are one of the cornerstones of experience on which Design-Opinions is founded. These are generally built around a comparative evaluation of a variety of prototypes or products presented in one physical venue. Respondents are recruited to the venue and are asked (amongst other things) their reactions to what they see.
Generally, participants record most of their own answers on paper questionnaires or hand-held devices. These are then reviewed at various stages, by staff, in order to ensure comprehension of the questions and clarity of response.
Oftentimes these clinics are accompanied by in-depth group discussions with a sub-sample of the participants from the clinic evaluations in order to gain a deeper understanding of some of the issues at hand.
